Willmar ECFE is excited to partner with you and your family to provide resources, learning and support during your child’s birth-age 5 years. Registration for Early Childhood courses can be done online here. If you have questions or need help registering, please contact 320-231-8490 during the summer.

Parent Aware offers free tools and resources to help families find the quality child care and early education programs their children need to succeed in school and life.

West Central Minnesota Talking is Teaching aims to motivate parents and caregivers to talk, read and sing more with their newborns and young children. Find activity kits, resources and tips on their website.

Willmar Video Tips and Resources

  • Check our current brochure for a list of ECFE classes available. Daytime, Evening and Pop-up classes available. 
  • Parent Partner: Our Parent Partner program connects you to a licensed parent educator to meet your family's personal needs. 
  • ECFE at the Library: Join Kari and Abby at the library the last Friday of each month (excluding summer months) 
  • Newborn Coffee Hour: Join new parents, a public health nurse and a licensed parent educator to discuss topics specific to newborn babies, weight checks, and have your health/development questions answered.
  • Expectant ParentingCheck our current brochure for our expectant parenting class that will cover topics such as birth, breastfeeding, bringing baby home, and more. This class is offered quarterly.
